Prepare a home cleanser by mixing half a cup of milk with ½tsp of any vegetable oil, like sesame seed oil, or olive oil. 2. Put the mixture in a bottle and shake well. Wipe your skin with this, using cotton wool and keep the remainder in the fridge for 2-3 days. Tone Well: After cleansing, tone your skin with a rose-based skin tonic or rose water. Make cotton- wool pads and soak them in rose water. First wipe the face and then pat the face with the cotton wool pad. This improves blood circulation to the skin surface. Avoid eruptions: Tulsi leaves come useful for eruptive conditions. It helps to soothe rashes and eruptions. Apply a paste of tulsi leaves on the skin and wash off after 15 mts. You can also use sandalwood paste for eruptive conditions. Mix sandalwood with a little rose water and apply on the skin. Wash off with plain water after 30 mts.
For itchy skin, Add 1 tbsp vinegar to a mug of water and pour it on the affected area. It helps in getting relief.
Nourish your skin: Fruit masks are a good option to nourish your skin what- ever type it is. Mix pulp of ripe papaya with grated cucumber, grated apple, mashed banana. Apply this on the face. Wash it off after half an hour. Curd and oats can also be added to this.

Apply this paste on the face and neck, keep it for 10mts. and gently wash it off with cold water to get fresh and youthful skin. *Yogurt- Strawberry Blush: Take 5 Strawberries mash them with 2tsp yogurt and 1tsp fuller’s earth. Apply this on the face for 10mts. Rinse with lipid water and get radiant glowing skin within a short period of time. *Guava- Oatmeal Treat: *Mash 1 guava and stir it in the mixture of oatmeal and 2-3 drops of lemon juice. Apply on the face for 20mts. Then wash it with cold water. *Orange Peel and Sandalwood Pack with Fuller's Earth: Make a mixture of 1tsp sandalwood powder, 1tsp orange peel powder and ½tsp of fuller’s earth. Mix these ingredients mixture in rose water to form a paste. Apply this on the face and leave it for 20mts. Wash it off to get a more fair, toned and tightened skin.
*Milk-BesanTreatment: Mix 2tsp basen; 2-3 drops lemon juice; pinch of camphor and a little milk and form a paste. Apply it over the face and leave it for 15mts. Then scrub it off with milk. This mask, also treat scars on the facial skin.
Home Masks for Normal and Dry Skin: *Honey, Potato and Egg white: Mix 1tsp honey with white of 1 egg and grated potato. Apply this on the face and let it dry. Wash off with cold water and feel the freshness as a result. *Fresh cream - Spinach Puree Mask: Take 1 C of raw pureed spinach, and 1 tsp fresh cream, mix well. Apply on the face and leave for ½ an hour then wash it and see the charming skin to support your looks. Lemon- Egg Emulsion Lift: Whip an egg white till it gets peaked up. Store it in the freezer for about 15 mts. now add 1 tsp of fresh apple juice. Apply on the skin to get a soft and toned skin. Papaya- Banana Mask: Grind papaya, banana and yogurt together. Apply this on clean face and keep it for half an hour. Then wash with cold water. Apply daily and you will have glowing skin.

Leave for 10 minutes before rinsing off with cold water. Honey Moisturizer for smoothing skin: *Heat 1 tbsp honey for ½ minute on a very low fire. Let it cool and then spread it as a film all over the face. Leave it for 20 minutes, then remove with cotton wool pads and rinse with warm water. Bruise the rose petals by pouring hot water over them. Strain after 15 minutes. This makes the rose water. 2. Now mix together crushed almonds and lemon juice with rose water. Clean the face with this mixture. You can see your stale make-up & dirt coming off to leave your skin sparkling clean. Moisturizer: Dry, rough and tough Skin needs moisturizer. For refresh and nourish moisturizer, drink for your face. *Ingredients: 1C Almonds, soaked and made into a paste 1 tsp yeast 1 Vitamin E capsule Method: 1. Mix all ingredients together well. 2. Apply all over the face, under the eye areas too. 3. Keep till it semi-drie 4. Wash off, and feel your skin soft, supple and glowing. * Herbal Pack Moisturizer: Ingredients & Method: 4 almonds and soak them in enough milk to cover them. Leave them soaked overnight. Next morning peel and grind them to a smooth paste. Mix 2 tbsp more of milk and a few drops of rose essence. Store in a bottle and keep refrigerated. Mix this powder in coconut oil and apply to hair to prevent hair fall (loss) and also to give shining hair. Split- Stopper: If you have split hair it means your hair needs nourishment: *Ingredients: 1tsp honey 1vitamin E capscule 1 egg yolk 1tbsp any vegetable oil Method: 1. Mix all together well. 2. Put the mixture on the hair and leave on hair for 30-35mts. Then wash thoroughly. This mixture will strengthen damaged and brittle hair Herbal Bath: Mixture of herbs like mint, tulsi, neem, rose petals or lavender make a layer of herbs.
